T Warren is a Kaw/Osage mixblood whose musical career began in 1967 in the usual garage band format. However, not content to play cover songs, he began writing and from early on the majority of the music he has performed over the past 35 years has been his own. In the 70's he opened for the likes of James Taylor, John Prine, REO Speedwagon and Muddy Waters on the college tour circuits. In the 80's and 90's, he opened for acts like REM and Rick Derringer. T Warren is no stranger to the stage nor to the recording studio. He has 8 albums to his credit and is a multiple Beacon Music Award winner. His song "Wazahaze" a song taken from stories told to him by his grandfather about life on the reservation is currently being used as the background music for a traveling display of American Indian artworks. He still makes his living through his music only. He recently released his latest work "High Times n' Low Livin' aka There's No More Southern Comfort", a 19-song autobiographical look back at his life. The project has recieved rave reviews in recent weeks. T continues to tour on the average of 20 weeks per year, playing roadhouses, juke joints, bars and festivals from the midwest to the deep South.
